The Norwegian Cyclists’ Association invites you to contribute professional input to the National Cycling Conference 2026 in Oslo. You are the ones who know best what is happening across Norway and abroad—whether it concerns initiatives that promote social inclusion or physical measures that encourage cycling.
Cycling Joy for Everyone
Cycling creates greener cities, improves public health, and reduces traffic. But it is also about something even more important: joy. The feeling of safety and freedom when moving through well-designed environments. Perhaps joy is the strongest motivation for choosing the bicycle.
In planning and strategic work, this perspective can easily be lost. How do we ensure that visions of sustainability and public health also leave room for experiences that make cycling attractive and enjoyable? For residents, the answer is simple: safety, accessibility, and pleasant surroundings make choosing the bicycle a natural choice.
The Cycling Barometer shows that we cycle a lot, and the Norwegian Cyclists’ Association invites you to showcase what you or your organization have done to make this happen. Do you have projects that make cycling easier, more accessible, safer, or more fun? Have you solved challenges or developed effective forms of collaboration? Share your experiences at the conference in Oslo!
